How to Grant Us Access to Your Google Business Profile

Step-by-step guide to adding SmartWebsite Pro as a manager to your Google Business Profile so we can optimize your listing.

Adding us as a manager to your Google Business Profile (GBP) allows us to optimize your listing, respond to reviews, post updates, and ensure your business information stays accurate across Google Search and Maps.

Time required: About 5 minutes

Step 1: Sign in to Google Business Profile

Go to business.google.com and sign in with the Google account that owns your business listing.

If you have multiple locations, select the location you want to give us access to.

Step 2: Open Business Profile Settings

  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner
  2. Select Business Profile settings
  3. Click on Managers

Step 3: Add a New Manager

  1. Click the Add button (+ icon)
  2. Enter our email address: access@smartwebsitepro.io
  3. Select the role: Manager

Note: Manager access allows us to edit your profile, respond to reviews, and post updates. We cannot delete your listing or transfer ownership.

Step 4: Send the Invitation

Click Invite to send the manager invitation.

We’ll receive an email notification and accept the invitation within 24 hours.

Step 5: Confirm the Addition

Once we accept, you’ll see our email listed under Managers in your Business Profile settings.

What Happens Next?

After we have manager access, we will:

  • Audit your current listing for accuracy and completeness
  • Optimize your business description with relevant keywords
  • Add or update photos to showcase your business
  • Set up messaging if not already enabled
  • Create regular posts to keep your profile active
  • Monitor and respond to reviews using AI-powered responses

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I remove your access later?

Yes. You can remove manager access at any time from the same Managers screen.

What if I don’t see the Managers option?

You may need to verify your business first, or you may not be logged into the correct Google account. Contact support and we’ll help troubleshoot.
